About Us

Applause for Jake Watson is a community based charity on the Isle of Man set up to provide financial, educational and emotional support for bereaved families.

The charity was started by Mark and Lea Watson after they lost their son, Jake, on the 19th of September 2016 aged just 14 to a sudden asthma attack.

He was a beautiful, larger than life ray of sunshine and known by many.

Jake became an Organ Donor and helped transform four lives.

As a family, Mark and Lea decided to keep his memory alive by raising money for bereavement support on the Isle Of Man.
